We have two locations, our original brewery/ restaurant opened in 1993 in Troy, NY. We recently restored a factory on the Walloomsac River in Hoosick Falls for our production brewery. The Walloomsac Taproom opened In Fall of 2014 and we are offer tours, tastings and a light menu.

Brown's brews about 24 seasonal and time honored brews throughout the year. Our Oatmeal Stout is a world beer cup gold medal winner and our Cream Ale won Best Beer in the Hudson Valley at Tap NY in 2014. Our brewers are most excited about a new barrel aged Sour Series. Brown's Whisky Porter simply warms the soul. Aged for two full months in Kentucky Whiskey barrels, this beer has a cult following. New this season, Brown's teamed up Uncommon Grounds to produce a full flavored Coffee Porter "Uncommon Porter."
Craft Beverage ingredients come from::
We use local hops for our seasonal Harvest IPA - a wet hopped beer. Our hop supplier is in Petersburgh New York, "Hop Hollar Farms." Our Walloomsac Taproom features local cheeses and produce from the following Farms: Berle Farm, Clear Brook Farm, Happenchance Farm, Tillsdale Farm
